The recent major events that affect the market are "reciprocal tariffs". The market panic increases and the increase in risk aversion is also due to this. Since the incident has eased and risk aversion has decreased, gold should naturally meet the needs of drawdown adjustment.
Last weekend, the United States decided to exempt electronic products imported from my country. Affected by this, market tensions have been alleviated, and there is a probability that gold prices will retreat after the risk aversion has declined.
Yesterday, gold prices rebounded first and failed to break through the previous high. After a whole day of fluctuations and accumulated momentum, they finally broke down. The overall trend was in line with our expectations.
After Goldman Sachs last forecast for 2025 gold price growth target, it released its latest forecast yesterday, raising the expected gold price target at the end of 2025 from the previous $3,300/ounce to the latest $3,700/ounce, and gold prices will rise to $4,000 by mid-2026.
