On Monday, the Hong Kong stock market experienced the largest decline since 1997, and the Hang Seng Volatility Index hit its highest level since March 2022. Domestic demand stocks outperformed the market, with China Feihe (06186) and Tongcheng (00780) rising 8.1% and 7.4%, Ctrip (09961) and Mengniu (02319) rising more than 6%, Haier Smart Home (06690), Qingdao Beer (00168), Hisense Home Appliances (00921), Prada (01913),Midea (00300), Pop Mart (09992), Yihai (01579) and XP (01368) rose 4.2% to 5.2%.

Auto stocks generally strengthened. BYD (01211) announced its first-quarter net profit at noon is expected to double to 10 billion yuan, and it is expected to make at least 86% more in the first quarter. The stock price once rose 7.8% in the afternoon. NIO (09866), Geely (00175) and Xpeng (09868) rose 4.4% to 4.9%.

With the White House no sign of concession, investors' focus will be on whether Beijing can introduce measures to support Chinese exporters and support the domestic economy. Currently, central enterprises such as central Huijin have also shown that they will maintain the stable operation of the capital market, giving market confidence. The Federal Reserve will hold a closed-door meeting of the Council on April 7 local time to review and determine the advance and discount rates charged by the Federal Reserve Bank.
